Océane Jacob in residency at NU'VEM, Azores

Océane Jacob is scheduled to undertake a month-long residency at the NU´ VEM program on Pico Island in the Azores, organized by FREESAM. During her stay, Jacob plans to explore the island's historical and ecological connections to whales, immersing herself in the local environment to inform her artistic practice. In April 2025, Mexican visual artist Andrea Perales Covarrubias will embark on a six -month Artist Residency with Atelier Mondial, dividing her time between Mulhouse, France, and Basel, Switzerland. Based in Oaxaca de Juárez, Perales integrates sculpture, installation, and textile art to explore themes of identity, territory, and memory. The residency offers her a unique opportunity to engage with the vibrant Franco-Swiss cultural landscape, expand her interdisciplinary practice, and connect with local communities through exhibitions, workshops, and collaborative projects.
Océane Jacob exhibits in Hong Kong - French May
